ART: Early Birds
Title: Early Birds

Medium: Ink, watercolour
Notes: My art for the Harry Potter Art Project. I was assigned book 2, chapter 7, so I picked the scene where Oliver gets the Gryffindor team up at the crack of dawn only to rave at them (with moving charts) for hours. I have a time-lapse video of the entire watercolouring bit, but unfortunately I lost iMovie in a harddrive crash so I can't export it at the moment. Maybe it's just as well, I'm probably the only one fascinated by watching myself paint 8)



The first board took nearly twenty minutes to explain, but there was another board under that, and a third under that one. Harry sank into a stupor as Wood droned on and on.

Found this through hogwarts_today, and I love it! The dark circles under Oliver's eyes and the crazy expression...it's hilarious. ;) Is that Fred or George with his head on the desk?

Eee, thank you! :D George is the one asleep, though looking over the passage again I didn't get the team's positions quite right. Whatever, artistic license I guess!

Aaaaa the facial expressions are amazing! I can't believe how good you are at drawing faces :D HAHA, you know what Katie's expression REALLY reminds me of? xD (think IB art exam) TALENTED LINN :]
